Our Beginning…...

AAA Signs began as a small family owned business in West Columbia, S.C. in July, 1976. Primary products were hand painted signs, magnetic signs for vehicle identification and lettering of commercial vehicles. During 1979 the company expanded operations to include the manufacturing and sales of internally illuminated changeable copy signs and custom manufactured business signs with pan formed plastic faces. Now we offer full service to our customers as well as manufacturing.

Location...

AAA Signs relocated to its new facility on September 23, 1996. We are now located at 95-B Sunbelt Boulevard which is in a convenient industrial park off the Frontage road of Monticello Road at Interstate 20 in Richland County. The new facility is 20,000 square feet and situated on approximately six acres of land. Shop facilities include necessary manufacturing equipment and internal spray paint facilities. Outside storage of signs is also available on our property.

Present Cranes & Equipment...

Our current service equipment includes a 1999 TEREX crane with remote basket and an extreme reach of 148 feet with lifting capacity of up to 23.5 tons; a RO-DINO 1500 crane with 114 extreme reach and lifting capacity of 14 tons. Early in 1998 we added a fully stocked service truck with a two man remote control bucket which is utilized for all our service work under 65 feet. In 2004 we added another service truck with a reach of 55’ and a CAT Skid-steer with auger capabilities.

Engineering...

Sign pole structures and foundations are designed and engineered through the use of computer aided engineering software running on an IBM computer. The software consists of approximately seventy (70) separate programs and has been developed specifically for the sign industry. Few companies of our size provide this kind of "State of the Art" engineering service. Even fewer sign companies, of any size, with sign structures installed in the path of Hurricane Hugo can state that “None of our sign pole and foundation structures were destroyed during the storm”.

Design & Graphics...

AAA Signs Art and Graphics Design Department is computer assisted for layout and design. Digitizing and scanning equipment are incorporated with graphics and cad software to allow either custom sign design or the input of our customer's art work, text or logo.

Insurance...

Our customers are well protected against accidents that may occur while AAA Signs is working at their location. We carry two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) insurance coverage for commercial and general liability and vehicle liability.

Financials...

AAA Signs is a subscriber of Dun & Bradstreet services. Our Dun & Bradstreet number is 09-498-7989. We will provide bank references upon written request.
